Colorado Regional Fall Gathering 2020
(on Zoom – all Welcome!)
Friday evening November 6 – Sunday morning November 8, 2020
Please fill out the Evaluation Form to help us make future gatherings even better.
Colorado Regional Meeting will be hosting its annual Fall Gathering virtually this year. Our theme for 2020 is: Hope for Healing the World: Our Experiences during the Pandemic. We will be meeting Friday evening November 6 through Sunday morning Nov. 8, ending before noon on Sunday.
We are sad to report that due to health issues our keynote speaker, John Calvi, is not able to join us. He is out of serious danger but needs to spend the coming months resting and recuperating. (You can read his letter below). We look forward to a panel of respected Colorado Friends sharing their experiences and responding to our gathering theme.
Saturday afternoon will offer options for workshops on writing , music/movement and meditation, a viewing of the film Sweet Home Monte Verde, socializing ‘zoom’ rooms and more. There will be family fellowship times each evening at 6:30 pm with games, a creativity show, and singing.
Worship sharing will commence on Saturday and Sunday mornings along with a brief Meeting for Business (documents in advance here) and a Meeting for Worship later Sunday morning.
Visit visit the Fall Gathering page to view the schedule, descriptions of breakout groups, and see photos and bios of the group leaders.
The planning committee has decided to offer this Gathering freely to attendees, but please do register at the link below receive the zoom link to attend.
Please let others know, even those in Quaker meetings in other states. Together we will experience inspiration, hope, new directions and of course spiritual fellowship.

Just to let you know, I was very suddenly short of breath last week and went to the E.R. Pulmonary embolism (blood clots in the lung) were found to be the cause. Blood thinners are being used to resolve the condition. I am resting at home, am out of danger, have had no pain, and am on the mend. I am grateful for good quality healthcare.
In order to rest thoroughly, I have cancelled work through December. I will not be responding to email or phone calls. It’s fortunate that this temporary trouble comes so close to my annual period of rest. As good health returns, I will focus on my writing and look forward to teaching in the spring.
Relieved and happy my diagnosis is not complicated by Covid, I am very grateful to recover at home with Marshall. Thanks,
