Friends Journal (March 2009) Article about the Joint Service Project

From Mike Gray: I'm attaching an article about the Joint Service Project from the March Friends Journal. It started out to be about our workcamp in Louisiana, but the reporter got onto something bigger. Expect to hear more about this, but for now, remember that we are fully funded for this fiscal year and are offering many opportunities to participate in a workcamp this summer. We ask for your support as we look for ways to keep this opportunity open to Friends in the future.

AFSC-IMYM Joint Service Project Futures: IMYM 08-09 Queries and Supporting Documents

AFSC has announced that they will not support the Joint Service Projects past 2009. An IMYM “Futures” subcommittee of the AFSC-IMYM Joint Service Project Oversight Committee provides the following queries and supporting documents for consideration. The IMYM Executive Committee has asked that these queries be forwarded to IMYM Monthly Meetings for consideration at the January Continuing Committee.
