Spring 2007 JSP Program Announcement
March 1, 2007, from M. Gray.
Friends,
The Joint Service Project has a need for adult female co-facilitators for all projects. We are developing a job description for the website to better explain this position. We may need one or two co-facilitators before the description is finalized. If you have some experience working with intergenerational groups and would like to participate in a project in this way, contact Mike Gray.
We will be doing projects in Mexico this spring. We are currently recruiting participants for a project in El Desemboque de los Seris, April 7 – 14, 2007. (Registration form is here and at right).[Editor note: Go to AFSC JSP link for this.]
We will not be going to Pine Ridge this summer. I will be taking an extended Sabbatical instead, working in Mexico. While I am away, we are exploring ways to continue our work with one potential project along the US – Mexico border this summer, led by volunteers from the JSP Oversight Committee and AFSC staff.
Since it takes a while to set this up, we don’t have dates yet. If you would be interested in joining us for experiential service learning along the border, you are invited to contact me now to get on the list for early information or to suggest dates that might work for you.
In service,
Mike Gray
