File Fall 2006 Letter
We are pleased to send this fall letter with several queries we want to lay before Friends for discussion, seasoning and discernment in your Meetings and Worship Groups. We ask that Meetings share these queries and accompanying background materials in whatever ways work best in your local setting, and prepare responses to send to the Continuing Committee meetings to be held at Mountain View Meeting in Denver this coming January 26 and 27. We hope you will use whatever mechanisms seem most appropriate for your local setting to inform Friends about these issues. It is not necessary to come to unity in a formal minute-- it is often more helpful to our search for unity if the range of ideas and responses from all the Meetings can by shared fully and then considered in the light of the Spirit.
