Staying connected helps us create and deepen relationships, share our work, and support one another throughout the year. We do this in many ways across the IMYM community. However you connect, we hope you’ll find something here that draws you further into the life and work of IMYM.
Opportunities to connectThe IMYM calendar is a window into what Friends are doing across the community. You may find a workshop, gathering, worship opportunity, meeting, or activity that connects you with Friends beyond your own local Meeting. We especially encourage Friends to take part in the business meetings held during the year, where the work and discernment of the Yearly Meeting continue between Annual Gatherings. | Annual GatheringEach June, Friends from across IMYM come together for five days of worship, business, learning, fellowship, and activities for all ages. Friends are invited to participate onsite (in-person) or online. Whether you come every year or are considering it for the first time, Annual Gathering is one of our main opportunities to experience IMYM as a wider community. |
Share an eventThe IMYM calendar reflects the life of the Yearly Meeting and its wider community. It depends on all of us to keep it useful and complete. If your Monthly Meeting, Regional or Half-Yearly Meeting, IMYM committee, working group, or another IMYM-connected group is planning something, please add it — even if everyone directly involved already knows when it is happening. Committee meetings, business meetings, workshops, worship opportunities, retreats, youth and family activities, events open to the wider community, and other gatherings all help show the fuller life of IMYM. | Have an idea? Many IMYM activities and programs begin with a Friend having an idea or asking a question. If you have an idea for a workshop, conversation, worship opportunity, activity, or other program that could bring Friends together or serve the wider community, we'd like to hear from you. It does not need to be fully developed before you reach out. |
