IMYM mailings share news, announcements, invitations, reflections, and other information about the life and work of the Yearly Meeting. Mailings from the Regional and Half-Yearly Meetings focus on what is happening closer to home, including gatherings, news, and opportunities to connect within your region.

IMYM offers two levels of website access. With a basic account, the website recognizes you when you log in and brings along information you have already saved in your profile. That is especially useful when registering for events such as Annual Gathering or Regional Gatherings. Your account also gives you a place to manage your email preferences.A full account opens a private area of the website called My Community. Information from your profile becomes your listing in the Community Directory, where Friends can find one another and stay in touch. My Community also includes Friendly Forums for sharing questions, ideas, and conversations, and a place to access shared resources connected with your service to IMYM.
A basic account is the starting point. Full access adds more ways to connect with Friends, take part in conversations, and participate in the life and work of IMYM.

Logging in lets the website recognize you and connect you with the features associated with your account. It is especially useful before registering for events, including Annual Gathering and Regional Gatherings, and it opens My Community for Friends with full access.

A note about privacy
IMYM carries a concern for the privacy of our community. For that reason, requests for fuller website access are reviewed by a real person before they are approved. This gives us a chance to make sure that private areas of the website are being opened to Friends who are part of, or connected with, the IMYM community.
Personal information, community conversations, and service-related resources are shared only with Friends who are part of, or connected with, the IMYM community. Logging in is how the website recognizes who is visiting and what areas to open to them.
