2024 Annual Gathering Theme:

Our theme, Weaving Space for Becoming, emerged out of several worship sessions.

These words evoked powerful images for us.
We imagined Friends traveling from many separate places, coming together for our annual gathering, weaving among each other.
The strands that represent who we are – our experiences, our relationships, our joys and sorrows, the many ways each of us contributes to our blessed community – interconnected to form a vessel, a basket in which we hold a space for Spirit, for possibility, for transformation.

At IMYM Annual Gathering 2024, we'll come together with open hearts and minds, ready to embrace the winds of change and the gentle nudges of the Spirit. Our theme, 'Weaving Space for Becoming,' speaks to our collective journey of transformation. Like skilled weavers, we intertwine the threads of our past experiences, hopes, and dreams to craft a space where all are welcome to contribute our unique strands. With courage and humility, we seek the truth and allow ourselves to look onwards to new horizons. As we hold space for each other's growth and evolution, we acknowledge that we are at a pivotal point in our journey as a yearly meeting and as Quakers. Let us weave together our future with reverence for the past, embracing the opportunity to create a community where all are held up with a tender and encouraging hand.

Pay as Led

Registration for IMYM Annual Gathering is based on a "pay as led" model.
Pay as led means that when you register, the cost of your attendance will be calculated based on your choices.
You will have an opportunity to pay the full amount or you can pay less or more, as you are led.
Our hope is to include all Friends who want to attend.

We seek guidance and recommendations from those who have experience with various accessibility needs and experience with creating universally accessible built environments and programs (MINUTE 20190614(b)).” Join us in Durango to enjoy the mountains, participate in our programs and activities and help us seek the guidance of Spirit to make IMYM a truly inclusive, welcoming experience for all.
